About Us

Abundant Life ministries is a power-packed army of believers set on breaking free from the chains of religion and walking in the freedom of an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. With every stride taken toward knowing Jesus, we move closer to the freedom we were designed to dwell in and mandated to achieve. We are a ministry committed to helping believers advance from the place of just knowing about Jesus, to inhabiting the place where they really know him.

Praise & Worship is essential in pursuing a closer relationship with Christ. Swinging wide the gates of praise, we create an atmosphere that invites the Spirit of God to show up in a way that is explosive and able to transform lives. It is our deepest desire to honor God and exalt him, and we do this with passionate abandon, breaking away from mainstream religious practices to create the unique God-given sound of this House. The high-energy praise and high-intensity worship prepare the way for the release of the relevant, impacting and prophetic Word of God. The pastoral staff is a dynamic group of preachers and teachers, apostles and prophets, encouragers and exhorters, vessels and messengers that bring forth a Word from Heaven that is applicable and life-changing. We are intent on equipping the Body of Christ to walk in destiny and live in victory.

The vision of Abundant Life Ministries is to have a Ministry that emphasizes racial unity and reconciliation. We have been pioneers in our community, having the first multicultural congregation and revolutionizing the image of what the Body of Christ truly looks like. When Dr. Ray Willis became the pastor of this church over 20 years ago, God spoke to him saying, "Raise up a church; not a white church, not a black church, but a church for all people." What God spoke has manifested in a fresh and radical way. His Word has become flesh in every different shade of black, white, brown, yellow and red. In both members and in staff we are a reflection of the multicultural, multifaceted Body of Christ. We welcome all people from all places and stations in life, regardless of race, religious background, economic status, past failures, present hurts or future anxieties. No matter where you have been, we invite you to go with us as we move toward Jesus Christ and a glorious future in him!
